Such a sad day as we lost not only a young firefighter but a police officer here.
We citizens become ever so complacent and forget that our firefighters and police officers put their lives in jeopardy every time they answer a call. By the Grace of God, most of the time they make it home to their love ones safe and sound... but once in a while we are given a brutal and sad reminder of what they face when they put on their uniforms.
Please say a prayer for all the First Responders in your communities. Let them know you appreciate what they do everyday to keep you and your loved ones safe.
