The Outlawz Crash your Stash Challenge: Photo Corners

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“No one heals themselves by wounding another.”

Good morning!
Today is the start of a new “Crash your Stash” challenge at The Outlawz Challenges

The purpose of this Challenge is to encourage you to use those items that are no longer trending and probably stashed away in a drawer. Forgotten and alone. So, we are here to help inspire you to dig those lovely items out and bring them new life!
At the start of the challenge, we will tell you what item we want you to pull from your stash and use and you will have a whole month to find, dust off and create something lovely with the item!
That simple!
And to make it better, We Are 3 Digital Shop is generously sponsoring us so every month, someone will win a lovely prize!
Our item for this month is Photo corners … those sticky little pieces of paper that were used by most scrapbookers and photo album enthusiast back in ther day to stick photos to the pages! They also make great little embellishments for cards.

For mine, my photo corners are white. I just colored them black with a marker and let them dry well before adding clear Nuvo Drops to them for a bit of texture and shiny. I also added a bit of the clear Nuvo drops to the pink polka dots to make them stand out as well.

Before I embossed the back piece I sponged it a bit of very light gray ink to make it pop off the white card bases a bit.

Supplies:
  • Pre-colored Sponsor image Tropical Snapshot Digital Printable and Sentiment Special Wishes printed on Stampin Up! Whisper White Card Stock
  • Black Sharpie
  • Cardstock from The Paper Studio (Base) and Stampin Up!
  • Clear Nuvo Drops
  • Embossing folder: Hawaiian shirt from Cuttlebug
  • Ink from Scrapbook.com
  • Photo corners from Stash
  • Rhinestones from Stampin Up!

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to stop by The Outlawz Challenges where there is a challenge for every day of the week!
(Hugs) Cara
