celebrating 90 years of Birthdays!

“Life is just a short walk from the cradle to the grave, and it sure behooves us to be kind to one another along the way.” ~ Alice Childress

Good afternoon my crafty peeps
Here shortly Sweet Aunt Polly is going to be celebrating her 90th birthday!

90? you ask ... yes that is correct

What amazing changes she has seen and experienced and through it all, she is still one of the kindest people you ever want to meet.

There is to a a big  to-do ... obviously - and with much going one I wanted to make sure I had a card made in time for her!

This one is large at 7.50" x 6"

Card Base - The Paper Studio
Card stock - Stampin Up!
Ink - Stampin Up!
Sentiment - PSX
Flower card topper - Hot off the Press ... (Christina - my craft room is absolutely still trashed - I am wading through piles which is how I found the toppers I bought many moons ago!)

Late again!

“If you’ve heard this story before, don’t stop me, because I'd like to hear it again.” ~ Groucho Marx

Good evening ...
Late again ... that's my title ... because I am ... late again with a birthday card.
Changes to my work hours earlier this year has me soooo off schedule that even though I managed to get them changed back about two months ago I can't seem to get back on track ....argh!

Here is a card for a co-worker that I will be rushing into work tomorrow to get everyone to sign to I can get it mailed off to her since she works in Mexicali.

The layout is based on a sketch "The Challenge #7" from Always Playing with Paper.

Card base from The Paper Studio
Card stock from Stampin Up!
Ink from Memories and Stampin Up!

Youth is a wonderful thing.
What a crime to waste it on children.
