It was my turn to pick the challenge this week and I chose this inspirational photo. I just love the bright colors and how the sun is shining through changing them here and there.

I know most can relate when I say that I had something totally different in my head when I looked at this picture but as I started creating my card, I found I went in a totally different direction! Either way, I love the way this came out and I know the person who will be getting it will love it too!

Hi Everyone!
Lately it seems like I have been unable to make a card that isn't connected to a challenge! So much for being retired! However, today I am sharing a card that is not scheduled for a challenge! Yay!

I won this image last month during a month long celebration at Holley's Blog! I have had it printed for a while now and FINALLY managed to get it colored up and on a card! 

Isn't this image too fun?! It's called Skelly and the artist is Maria Medel Rodriguez ... you can check out all her other great images HERE on Etsy.

Today I am sharing with you the details of the card I made. The image is colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut and added to the card base with foam pieces. Pearl Smooch was added to the flower to give it a touch of a shimmer and Gold Smooch was used on her head band along with the rhinestones.
