The Outlawz No Stamp Challenge, Getting from point A to point B

Good Afternoon!

It has been a bit of time since I last posted. My life took an unexpected turn mid June and I found myself having to pack up my home of 23 years and relocate. I am now settled in a new place until I can find a forever home to purchase but I have managed to get my craft room unpacked more or less so was able to actually spend some time playing with paper. It was a nice retreat from everything I've been dealing with,

Today is the start of a new challenge at The Outlawz Challenge. You can play along HERE

This challenge discourages the use of any physical stamps or digital images. Exceptions will be made for digital paper and stamped or digital sentiments

This month our challenge is Getting from point A to point B. so think about all the fun ways to travel!
Think trains, planes and automobiles or maybe a hot air balloon or (out of the box) a dragonfly!

I used this sketch

I need a nice masculine card for an upcoming birthday so I went with a motorcycle focal point.

I created the foiled background by taping aluminum foil to a piece of card stock, then I used an embossing folder on one side to give some added interest and texture to the card.

Supplies: 5x7
  • Cardstock from The Paper Studio (base) and scrap bin
  • Die (Motorcycle, side view) from Gina Marie Designs
  • Embossing folder (Metal Plate, 3D) from Stampin Up!
  • Ink (VersaFine Clair) from Tsukineko
  • Sentiment (Celebrate Today) from Close to My Heart
  • Sketches by Me: CCBC30
  • Square card candy from Recollections
