About Me

I am a born and raised Arizona Desert Rat. In 1985 I married the love of my life who tolerates my breathing craft room (his words) and general messes. We share a daughter and a son as well as two sweet mutts and a cranky feral calico kitty. I like to crochet, cross stitch, play with watercolor paint, draw, color, read, camp, spend time with my pups and family and generally be lazy. I am blessed to have been able to retired at 55 from a 30plus year career in Aerospace. It was time.

I grew up with a mom who was always up to something crafty and encouraged me to explore the realm of creativity. I am curious by nature and learning something new has always been a big thing with me so when a friend introduced me to rubber stamping and paper crafts so many many moons ago, I fell into the rabbit hole and never crawled out!

I am the former Owner/Editor of Through the Craft Room Door Craft Magazine. I moved the blog challenge on to someone elses and stopped producing the magazine to concentrate on family. Currently I am an Admin for The Outlawz Challenges as well as the Team lead for the Crash your Stash Challenge and Sunday Song & Rhyme Challenges. I am also a colorist for Sherry West Art and Babycakesdnd.

As a general note, the cards I make are usually 5 x 7 with some exceptions or if I am making sets, in which case they are 4.25 x 5.50.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you have found something to inspire you to create or try something new!
