About Me

I am a born and raised native of the sunny (read HOT) state of Arizona, USA. I am retired since January of 2017 and live in Gilbert with my husband of 30plus years. We have two grown children. Our daughter Rachel is married and lives close by. Our son Dakota, is single and lives with us. We also have a feral calico who loves my husband and son, but tolerates me as I am the one that feeds her. A lovable pup named Tux and another little rescue pup named Annie.

I grew up with a mom who was always up to something crafty and encouraged me to explore the realm of creativity. I am curious by nature so learning something new has always been a big thing with me. Although I love most anything craft related, cross stitch, especially beaded cross stitch was one of my favorites, but losing sight in one eye has made it difficult for me to do that anymore but I generally have a crochet project in the works by my chair.

A friend introduced me to rubber stamping so many years ago it seems like forever! I recently stepped down from most all my other DT spots as I just needed some time off after the death of my mom in 2020 but I am still an Admin for The Outlawz Challenges as well as the Team lead for the Crash your Stash Challenge we offer every month.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you have found something to inspire you to create or try something new!
