Here Comes the Bride!

What a happy and holy fashion it is that those who love one another should rest on the same pillow. - Nathaniel Hawthorne

Good morning!

I am a bit late getting this posted ... Lots going on these days and some days it;s hard to keep track of what I did and didn't do.

Today is the start of another Clean and Simple Challenge at The Outlawz

Cheri has asked us to make wedding card with Fall colors.
Since my husband and I married in November and had Fall colors, I actually thought this would be a piece of cake.

I was quite wrong

I really struggled with this one. In the end, this is what I came up with and it looks so different that what I was seeing in my head!

The card size is 5 x 7

Supplies:
Pre-cut card base (Michaels)
Card stock used for layering (American Crafts)
Sentiment "Together Forever" (Stampin Up!)
Embossing folder "Wedding Suite: (Cuttlebug)
Flowers & gold dots (Stash)

I hope you take a few minutes to come and check out the other creations from the Design Team and maybe play along!

Challenges I have entered!

Things never look the same on paper as they do in our heads but this is gorgeous nonetheless!

I cannot thank you enough for playing along with my Dream Team and me on the launch of our new ATG challenge blog!

About your card... what fab colors! I love the rich tones! Sometimes what we envision doesn't pan out! I totally hear you! Sometimes I'm surprised and it comes out so much better than I thought though and that's always such a nice surprise. :) This is a very lovely wedding card. xx

Again, thanks for joining us for our current ATG challenge. Hope to see you again and good luck!
