Poinsettia Christmas

Another card from Crafty Peeps Scrap day.
Shannon saw this card om Pintrist and wanted me to make it (she is really good at finding cards she wants me to make LOL)
Since I love poinsettias - she didn't have to ask me twice!

I love how these turned out. Not very hard to make and they look lovely!

Supplies:
Card stock: Stampin Up!
The shiny white paper & the gold paper used for the snowflakes - that's from my scrap pile
Small snowflake punch: Marvy
Stash: Pearl & gold centers
Poinsettia die: Spellbinders
Embossing folders:
(red card) Cuttlebug "D'vine swirl" & Sizzix "Holly swirls".
(white card) Sizzix "Snow Globe" & "Sheet Music #2"

Wish upon a cupcake

Another card from Crafty Peeps Scrap day.

I blatantly copied a friends card! The only real difference between hers and mine is the paper and the sentiment!

The blue banner was created by first embossing then lightly tapping my black ink pad over the top.

Supplies:
Card stock, sentiment, dassling diamonds glitter: Stampin Up!
Image: Inkadinkado
Scallop & circle punch: Sizzix dies
EF: Cuttlebug : Swiss dots
Stash: paper glaze (frosting top of cupcake) Scrap paper and rhinestone (cherry)

Giving Thanks for you!

Another card from Crafty Peeps Scrap day.

This is a very simple CAS card. I think it took longer for me to make the stencil than the card!

I used a Leaf punch from Marvy to create a stencil that I placed on the paper and sponged over.
I stamped over the leaf with a wheat image and the sentiment

Supplies:
Card stock, sentiment and ink: Stampin Up!
Leaf punch: Marvy
Wheat image: $1 bin find

Primary Color CAS

Running late on this one ... This is for the Outlawz CAS challenge CAS081113

The challenge was to use primary colors only and one neutral (I know - I have two!)
Anyway - I saw a card on Pintrist that I used as inspiration ... it looks like she used a re-inker & alcohol technique and I really liked the way it looked.
However - I used acrylic paints and a stippling brush. This is my second try at it and I am happy with it.

Supplies:
Stampin Up! Card stock
Memories black India Ink
Red & blue Acrylic paint

Good afternoon ...
