A bit of Magic ...

There's a bit of magic in everything, and some loss to even things out.  ~Lou Reed, "Magic and Loss"

Good morning Everyone!
Today I have a sympathy card I made for my Father-in-Law.
He recently lost his older brother to some serious health issues.

The wings were die cut and then each piece embossed and layer with foam dots. Then a touch of Pearl Smooch was added to give them just a touch of glimmer.

This card is 5 x 7

Card stock: The Paper Studio & Stampin Up!
Dies: "Layered Wings" from Sizzix
EF: "Wings" from Sizzix  & "Lace Brocade" from Stampin Up!
Stamps: "Sympathy Sentiments" from My Sentiments Exactly
Supplies: Smooch from Clearsnap

Bee Happy ...

The hum of bees is the voice of the garden. ~Elizabeth Lawrence

Good morning friends and followers!
Yesterday a new Anything Goes challenges started at Through the Craft Room Door.
This week, our sponsor in Me ... With a one year subscription to TTCRD magazine for the winner!

This just the cutest set of stamps from Close to My Heart. I actually won these and while not something I would normally buy I do love playing with them. The big bee is from a very old set from The Angel Company and works wonderfully with the CTMH set.

The card was CASe(d) from one that I received with the stamp set. I should have taken a picture but didn't

The images are colored with Copics and then fussy cut. Aleen's Paper Glaze has been added to the hearts and the bee's wings. I cut out the three hexagons from a scrap piece of cardstock using the hexagon die and colored them with copics as well.

Everything is attached to the card base with foam dots.

Inside, I have stamped the sentiment "Just Bee-Cause" from The Angel Company that came with the Big Bee image.

Card size is 4.25 x 5.50
