The Outlawz Challenges: Inspiration photo

On with the dance! let joy be unconfined;
No sleep till morn, when Youth and Pleasure meet
To chase the glowing hours with flying feet.
~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my card for the new color challenge which started today at The Outlawz Challenges and sponsored this month by Imagine That! Digi Stamps.

Our challenge this week is a pretty picture of a ballerina which always makes me think of birds, so quick, delicate and elegant! So for my card, I used the Sponsor pre-colored image Sweet Petunia and sentiment. Then I added a bit of bling with glitter cardstock and glitter glue.

Supplies: 5 x 7 card
  • Pre-colored image printed on Stampin Up! Whisper White Cardstock
  • Cardstock from The Paper Studio (base) and Stampin Up!
  • Crafter’s Companion heart die
  • Glitter card stock from Recollections
  • Glitter Glue from Studio G
  • Marvy 1” circle punch

Here's the Inspiration photo

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to stop by The Outlawz Challenges for more challenges and Inspiration!

Beautiful card, Cara! I gotta admit, though, this one's hard, I feel like I am color blind when I look at the photo, I cannot tell which colors are dominant. Let's see - What I see is seafoam/mint green and purple. With little touches of pink and yellow. Gold and black accent/neutrals. Heck, I'm gonna write that down right now, going with it. I give up! heehee Guess I just needed to talk it out with ya...so thanks! xoxoxox
