CIU Challenge 343 – Your Favorite Color

Good morning!
A new Cut it Up Challenge has started. You can find the challenge HERE.

For these challenges, a die-cut is anything made with a manual or an electronic die-cutting machine. (Spellbinders, Cricut, MFT dies, Silhouette, etc.). Store bought die-cuts are also acceptable. Please note that handheld punches and/or paper-piecing DOES NOT count as a die-cut.

For my card this challenge, I found a card on Pinterest that I cased because I really like the clean layout. It’s great for beginner card makers (in my opinion) and one that can be used for any occasion and can easily be leveled up with inks, embossing folders and embellishments if desired.

Red is my favorite color, and I recently bought a large 12 x 12 pack of card stock in shades of red when JoAnn’s had their going out of business clearances.

Cased Card from KingstonMamaCrafts
Sadly, it does not looks like she has been active in cardmaking for a very long time

Card size: 5x7
  • Cardstock from The Paper Studio (base) and Parklane
  • Dies from CCDesigns (Dottie Trim) & Sizzix (Daisies #2)
  • Embossing folder from Spellbinders (Scattered Leaves)
  • Flower center from my stash
  • Ink from Stampin Up!
  • Sentiment from Stampin Up! (Approaching Perfection)
Thanks for stopping and remember to stop by the challenge to check out all the DT projects and play along!
