Elegant wedding

If two stand shoulder to shoulder against the gods,
Happy together, the gods themselves are helpless
Against them while they stand so.
~Maxwell Anderson

Good morning my Crafty Peeps ...

Since I managed to grab some stuff and space in my very trashed craft room, I was able to finish making this card for my manager who is getting married shortly so I decided to add it to the line up at Through the Craft Room Door where a new Anything Goes Challenge starts today!

I took inspiration from this gorgeous card HERE which I found looking through Pinterest.

Heavily layered cards are not my normal style of card but they make such elegant cards I could not resist making one for her special day!

The card size is 5 x 7. I used my score board to add some detail around the edges, barely seen here, but in reality, it adds a nice clean finished look to the card.

Originally I had originally planned on using just all white, but I found out her colors are Tiffany blue and white, I remembered that I had these perfect little blue and white flowers that were gifted to me. The addition of the heart stick pins was actually last minute and, in my opinion, was exactly the finishing touch needed.

Packing up for a craft Room Re-do

Time is a brisk wind, for each hour it brings something new... but who can understand and measure its sharp breath, its mystery and its design? ~Paracelsus

Hello everyone!
Just letting everyone know that I will more than likely be scarce for some time with occasional post now and then.

Currently working on some home renovation projects including my craft room which means much of my stuff will be packed up again while I redo certain things.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

September-October Edition of Through the Craft Room Door!

If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve (or save) the world and a desire to enjoy (or savor) the world. This makes it hard to plan the day. ~E.B. White, quoted in Israel Shenker, "E.B. White: Notes and Comment by Author," New York Times, 1969 July 11th
