The Outlawz November 2025 Color Challenge, Final

This November Color Challenge will be the final one for the Outlawz Challenges. You can check it out HERE.

Starting January 1st, we are rolling out three updated challenges and hope that you all follow along. We truly appreciate everyone who has been with us starting as far back as when we used the Ning platform and cheering us along as we navigated using Blogger and Facebook as our new way to share our challenges!

The Outlawz Color Challenge, October 2025

Good morning!

The October 2025 Color Challenge has started at The Outlawz Challenges. You can check it out HERE

The Fall Solstice has passed, and we are now moving into shorter and cooler days!

This month we have a fun, spooky color chart for you to use with a twist of pumpkins and Halloween.

I am still a bit short on Halloween cards, so this is perfect! I have this great pumpkin die base that I can use as is or add some fun jack-o-lantern faces. For this card, I did a bit of paper piecing for the jack-o-lanterns face and added some fun purple rhinestones for a bit of fun!

I didn’t have small enough punches, so I found a die that cut out different size circles and picked a couple for the eyes.

The Outlawz Color Challenge: All about Fall!

Good evening!

The September 2025 Color Challenge has started at The Outlawz Challenges. You can check it out HERE.

This month it is all things Fall! I love Fall. The weather starts cooling and what plants we have here that actually change color will start that process soon.

My card for this challenge is on the simple side. I have this amazing design paper covered with pumpkins. I don’t know where I got it or who the manufacturer is, but I only have some scraps and one whole 12 x 12 sheet left, and I am really trying hard not to hoard it!

I’m thinking I might make some Holiday wall décor with it. In the meantime, I had enough left on a scrap that I could cover a 5x7 base with it.

May 2025 Color Challenge: Tic Tac Toe

I used the far-right column from top to bottom. This is much pinker that I generally deal with. It’s not my favorite color so I tend to use it sparingly when I can but I'm not unhappy with how this turned out.

Wishing upon a star

Good morning!

Our challenge this month is a fun one featuring a brightly colored rainbow with a twist of Friendship. I opted to use a new die set I purchased. I cut it out the rainbow in white and then I colored it with ProMarkers. I used one of my go-to stencils from Stampin Up! For making the cloud background.

The Outlawz Color Challenge: Think of Mom (or Grandma)

Good morning!

Our challenge this month is a pretty pallet featuring dusky blues and pinks with a twist of thinking about mom (or Grandma)

Sadly, I lost my mom in 2020 after a stroke, but there is another strong, independent woman in my life that is like another mom to me so I made my card with her in mind and will be sending this to her for Valentines Day!

I got a new light box with adjustable lighting and I am still trying to get it figured out. My card is a bit dark but the colors really are soft dusky blues and pinks...

Monochromatic kind of day ...

Good morning!
A new Color Challenge has started at The Outlawz Challenges. You can check it out HERE

Our challenge this month is monochromatic.
I always find working with monochromatic colros to be very interesting. Sometimes I'm good with the overall way it turns out and others I struggle to not had other colors to add more interest so its a gamble when I ply with one color family.

I generally don't use design paper, sticking with solid cardstock and inks but I'm working on using my DP and I have a bunch of Stampin Up! In color papers that I've had forever that makes it super easy to create monochromatic projects with interest.

Here I created a masculine sunburst card using design paper in the color mellow moss from Stampin Up!

However, I feel that I could have made my strips a bit wider because I think this looks a bit more busy than I wanted but over all I'm not unhappy with it given that I don't do this card technique often.

Good morning!

This month we have a gorgeous Inspiration photo from Angela.

While I have way more white accents than the photo I did pull in the blues along with the browns and caramel plus I went with the coffee theme!

I colored the bird with an ink pad and a blender pen then added a bit of clear Pop of Color to the for some shiny!
