Cature your dreams ...

Good morning,
A co-worker was moving to a new position, and I was asked if I had a suitable card.

I went through my box and found one I made in 2019 that would be perfect. The card was made by heat embossing the image onto watercolor paper and then using the smoosh technique with the gel crayons and water. I always loved how this butterfly came out.

Anyway, I did have a slight challenge with the size as many people needed to sign and this was an A2 card. So I just did some chopping and using a card sketch turned on it’s side from Mojo Monday, I created this card!

Birthdays and Broccoli

Good morning,

Sharing the Birthday card I made for my surprise-adopted daughter. She loves crabs and broccoli, go figure.

I've had this crab from Twistoon for a bit and was originally going to have him hold a candle but then I bought the broccoli die from Kokorosa not to long ago and I could not resist having him hold the broccoli instead.

I hope you find it as funny as she did!

Supplies, 5x7 card
  • Card stock from The Paper Studio (base) and Stampin Up!
  • Clear Pop of color from Scrapbook.com
  • Die from Kokorosa, Broccoli
  • Image from Twistoon, Scaredy Crab printed on Hammermill Color Copy
  • Ink from Tsukineko, Pastel Kaleidacolor
  • Promarkers
